Boat towing and on-water assistance, 24/7/365.
We offer 24/7 on water towing services for Lake Tawakoni and surrounding areas. Mechanical breakdowns — engines, transmissions and drives — are the single most common reason boaters call for on-water assistance, and that is most of what we run.

Beyond a tow
Salvage, recovery and dive work.
Salvage and recovery work uses divers, salvage pumps, lift bags and high-capacity dewatering pumps, with fuel-spill containment, photo documentation and condition reports for insurance files. Divers also handle prop and line clearing, underwater inspection, and recovery of lost items.
Salvage is not covered by any towing membership and is normally paid by the boat owner’s insurance. We work directly with carriers and adjusters on authorization, scope and billing, take insurance-assigned salvage on fixed-price or time-and-materials scopes, can bill most carriers directly, and provide certificates of insurance and references on request.

Our crews can launch from any public ramp on Lake Tawakoni — 37,879 acres across Van Zandt, Rains and Hunt counties, 15 miles southeast of Greenville.
H2O Boat Tow serves an area reaching about 120 miles by road from any of its ports, so coverage extends well beyond the lakes the ports sit on. The service area is the entire eastern side of Texas, from the Gulf coast to Arkansas, and crews travel to any lake in it.
Grounded, or something worse?
A soft ungrounding is a boat that is upright, undamaged, surrounded by water and freeable in about fifteen minutes with one boat and one line. Anything else is salvage, and the captain says which it is before a line goes on.
Soft ungroundings are covered for members; salvage is not.
Membership
The tow costs less before you need it.
A single non-member call typically runs $300 to $500, against about $130 a year for an Unlimited freshwater TowBoatUS membership
Member-covered services are towing, soft ungroundings, battery jump starts and fuel delivery; on a fuel delivery a member pays only for the fuel itself. Boat towing memberships are bought through TowBoatUS.
